Basalt Coffee Table

Basalt is a Coffee Table of Fredrikson Stallard for Driade. Steel frame painted gold and floor concrete lightened with wax finish gray slate. Basalt is a coffee table whose identity is about fragmentation. The designer finds answers reflecting the way that museums preserve and maintain the fragments of the great history. Based on this reflection, born Basalt, a coffee table in which the legs are not simply a means to block the top, but there are as complementary and integral part of the identity of the coffee table.
