Aslak Chair-Black

Aslak Chair is a stackable chair designed by Ilmari Tapiovaara in 1958 for the brand Artek. Form-pressed beech veneer shell and solid beech and beech veneer legs and frame black lacquered in either red, grey, petrol, black or white. Aslak Chair is an elegant, timeless and versatile chair. The combination of plasticity and the use of economical materials made possible the mass production of Aslak chair in 1958. Stackable up to 4 chairs and lightweight, Aslak fits perfectly in restaurants and meeting room. Its inviting rounded design, available in many laquered colors make it a perfect chair for domestic use. Wood becomes comfortable thanks to the curves that characterize Aslak chair, allowing hours of ergonomic sitting.
