Askos is a carafe by Angelo Mangiarotti for Poltrona Frau. Made in frosted and etched crystal.Askos is a precious and elegant carafe, an exclusive for Poltrona Frau. Originally designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in 1986, the name and shape are inspired by the small amphorae used to store oils and ointments in Ancient Greece. The continuous rounded surfaces of the lower part of the vessel contrast with the oblique cut and curved shape of the handle, which offers a secure and ergonomic grip. The Poltrona Frau logo and the signature of Angelo Mangiarotti are engraved into the base.
