Designed by Le Corbusier for his Paris apartment in 1938 and recently proposed again by Nemo Cassina, Applique de Marseille is a wall lamp in aluminium with a black body and a white internal diffuser. This precious lamp has an essential and functional design and allows a double emission of light. The study of the lamps one could find in the houses in Marseille during the 50s, source of inspiration of this iconic series, was conducted with the Le Corbusier Foundation.
