Anima is a floor lamp designed by Davide Groppi and Giorgio Rava for the brand Davide Groppi. A place of emotions where beauty is not only the inner point of view. Anima is a light which celebrates the essence of light, especially as a abstral sculpture, which is special even in the absence of light itself. This wonderful light gets its inspiration from the reflection on 20th century art and on Fausto Melotti's “thin sculptures”, metaphysic matter invading space with a light and musical rhythm. The light has a very strong aesthetic power and sculptoral essence, perfect to be used as a floor lamp or on top of small tables, where is able to enlight the space without ever being inexpressive.The lamp is an indirect fusion between the Scandinavian and Japanese, which may result in two very different culture but are actually close.On top of the lamp, there is a metal open circle, which is intended as a hook for soul's fishermans.
