Alicanto Floor is a floor lamp designed by Francesco Librizzi and produced by the Fontana Arte Brand. This lamp takes its name from a mythological Chilean bird, which legend has it fed exclusively on gold and silver. This bird could not fly, but was resplendent, and the miners following it found gold, was always on the verge of taking flight, but invariably remained on the ground.
