Acapulco Chair was made in Mexico in 1950 when the homonymous village from which it takes its name was a favorite of Hollywood stars and American jet set. Today this chair shaped like a sunburst continues to be an icon of design produced by hand as fifty years ago in plastic rope stretched over a metal frame powder-coated black.
