93-08 Bookshelf

The Bookshelf '93-'08 is designed by Carlo Cumini for the brand Horm. Geometric lines and structure in solid wood backless essential for this bookshelf but never boring. The characteristic of '93-'08 is just the use of a load-bearing structure made of solid wood that never interrupts the MDF shelves and uses no backs. Thus there is a piece of furniture from the great visual lightness and extremely stable. The sides and front uprights are made of solid walnut or lacquered solid beech. Shelves in melamine particle board of wood and lacquered. Countersunk head screws with washers to fasten shoulders and front uprights to the shelf. Cover plugs the hole in the wood-fabric sandwich formed by two sheets of wood and one of the fabric laser-cut, 2 mm thickness, and glued to a neodymium magnet that attaches to the head of the screws.
