9205 Table Lamp

9205 is an elegant table lamp designed by designer Paavo Tynell and produced by the famous brand Gubi. The 9205 table lamp is made with a brass base and untreated bamboo shade or the shade made of canvas.The Gubi brand puts back into production the iconic creations of legendary designer and blacksmith Paavo Tynell, better known as the man who enlightened Finland. Aiming to reproduce a selection of Tynell's finest creations, originally conceived and produced with technologies and materials many different from those available today, the Gubi brand conducted careful studies combining them with a long process of experimentation on materials and finishes. This has made it possible to bring the design of the original pieces back to life in all their power. The range extension of the Tynell collection also includes bamboo as a lampshade option, a more sustainable and faster-growing choice than the poplar wood originally chosen by the designer for these products. Worked entirely by hand, first flattened one by one then sewn onto a linen backing and finally attached to a ring frame, the bamboo rods require an exquisite skill and attention to detail to achieve a workmanlike result.Light source: LED - 2x E27 (~4W-6W)- 220-240V - 470 lumens.
