822 Chair

822 Chair di Ton is part of a collection created in collaboration with the Swedish studio Claesson Koivisto Rune, which is inspired by a classic from the modernist era.822 Chair is based on a 1930 design by Josef Hoffmann, the A-811 model, which the Swedish designers have reworked in a minimal Scandinavian key, bringing this chair back to contemporary times. By modelling the proportions and applying the linearity of profiles and surfaces to handcrafted woodwork, the 822 was obtained, a chair of great taste and essential elegance. A further graphic touch is provided by the circular perforations on the backrest and seat, which lighten the composition and create an ideal connection with the original material used in the 1930s.Beech dining chair available in several finishes.
