55 Table, designed by Jean Pauchard, is a table in sheet metal, where the solidity of the top is contrasted by the lightness of the structure composed of tapered conical legs. Tolix has been an icon of industrial aesthetics for almost a century. All credit goes to the designer Xavier Pauchard who first used pressed sheet metal and zinc in France for the production of mass-produced furniture. The different models found their way directly into factories, offices and hospitals, as well as outside, on café terraces and in public parks. Starting in the 2000s, Tolix called upon a new generation of designers who infused the brand with a new energy: the Tolix collections became the contemporary expression of industrial design! Tolix was awarded the label 'Living Heritage Company' by the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry in 2006.Square table in varnished steel, available in 4 colors or raw.
