Indochine is a swivel armchair with a wooden structure, designed by Charlotte Perriand for Cassina. Revolving small armchair with 4 legs. Frame in solid walnut or black stained ashwood. Feet in plastic material. Back padded in CFC-free polyurethane foam and seat in CFC-free polyurethane foam and polyester wadding. Leather or fabric upholstery. Cassina presented at the Salone del Mobile 2014, the new version of the historic chair by Charlotte Perriand. The chair, designed by the designer in 1943 in Vietnam, for personal use, was built with the means and methods available at the time of the war. The review today respects the fundamental concept of the designer: the chair was, in fact, a vernacular appearance. Indochine is designed for lovers of design that has made history and now it writes a new page. The products in the Collection of Charlotte Perriand are all authenticated with the progressive production number, the signature of Charlotte Perriand and the logo of the Cassina I Maestri Collection.
