Flutz is the chair with armrests designed by Michael Anastassiades for Cassina. Clean and elegant lines that draw an austere metal structure that embraces a comfortable and inviting seat.The Flutz chair is the perfect fusion of a rigid, geometric structure and soft, comfortable seating. The armrests of the chair are made up of two thin parallel aluminum sheets, connected by crosspieces upon which sits an invisible plate that serves to stabilize the base and to support the seat which appears to be suspended. The metal structure with matte finish is available in three intense colours: aluminium with powder-coat finish in anthracite or black, or natural anodised. The seat, covered in removable leather or fabric, guarantees a solid and comfortable support thanks to the shell wrapped in a soft padding and encased in recycled PET batting. Based on the work carried out by Cassina LAB, Flutz is an environmentally friendly chair, in fact all the elements that compose it have been designed to be disassembled and recycled at the end of the product's life cycle.
