Armchair 42 “SMALL PAIMIO” is an armchair designed by Alvar Aalto and produced by the Artek Brand. Available in different finishes. This armchair, designed by the architect Alvar Aalto in 1932 and considered one of his masterpieces, is a smaller version of the 41 PAIMIO armchair. Fixed in just four points to the frame, the birch plywood seat seems suspended and offers great elasticity. The armrests are obtained from a single piece of birch lamella which is then divided in half to form the two armrests, in order to guarantee the same degree of aging.
