111 Navy Bar Stool is a variant of Emeco's iconic chair in its environmentally friendly version, made entirely through an innovative and sustainable process.111 Navy Bar Stool is colourful, eye-catching and encapsulates the encounter between 1940s design history and new, planet-friendly production techniques. It incorporates the historic design of Emeco, the historical manufacturer, which has replaced aluminium as the main material of its production, to turn towards the use of recycled materials, in collaboration with Coca-Cola. The result is a collection of seats made of 60% recycled polyethylene, obtained from 111 PET bottles of the well-known soft drink and bound together by a mix (created with BASF) made from a special combination of pigments coupled with glass fibre. 111 Navy Bar Stool is beautiful, comfortable, functional and robust enough to be considered unbreakable, with an estimated lifespan of 150 years.
